“My Administrative Fellowship experience at UF Health Shands was one of the most transformative experiences of my professional journey. The self-directed structure gave me the autonomy and flexibility to design a professional experience aligned with my interests while contributing to meaningful, high-impact organizational priorities. Working within a large, complex academic medical center pushed me to think strategically, strengthen my project management skills, and grow as a leader. I had the opportunity to collaborate across departments, build relationships with senior executives, contribute to key initiatives and policy development. The experience challenged me, expanded my perspective, and gave me the confidence and competencies needed to succeed as an aspiring healthcare leader.” – Fedelene Camille, Administrative Fellow 2023-2024
